Decimus Iunius Iuvenalis, also known as Juvenal, was a Roman satirist who likely lived during the 1st and 2nd centuries. His exact life dates are uncertain, but it is believed he was born around 60 AD and died some years after 127 AD. Originating probably from Aquinum, he is best known for his sharp satires. There are unconfirmed reports of his exile, but these remain speculative.
