Dirk Verbeuren started playing music in elementary school, initially the violin, then piano and electric guitar. In 1991, he discovered his passion for drums. He studied at the Music Academy International in Nancy and founded the thrash metal band Scarve the same year. He also works as a drum instructor at MAI.
